About Us

Historic Crystal Cave is a tourist attraction in Kutztown, PA offering cavern tours daily from March 1st through November 30th. Crystal Cave is known for its quality and quantity of formations as well as its lengthy history as PA's first show cave. See a 13 minute movie presentation in the Crystal Cave Theater prior to going into the cave. Trained tour guides present historical, geological, biological, and fun facts about Crystal Cave during the one hour tour. Visitors are suggested to wear comfortable walking shoes and a light jacket or sweater as the cave is a cool 54 degrees.
Other attractions on the property include gift and souvenir buildings, panning for gemstones, nature trail, and picnic facilities, Miniature golf, museum, restaurant, and ice cream parlor are open seasonally.
Known as PA's greatest natural wonder, over five million people have toured the cave since it was first discovered on November 12, 1871.
Preserving this natural resource through conservation efforts by cleaning and protecting the cave is a primary objective as the Company intends to provide enjoyment and entertainment for generations to come.
