After several years as an intern at the organization, and after pursuing teaching, I returned to the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce in March of 1999. In November of 2010 I was named president of the organization. In December of 2024 I retired from the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce after a 25-year career that included sustaining the organization through the recession and the COVID pandemic and rebuilding the organization after the impact they both had on the chamber.
The part of my job with the chamber that I enjoyed the most was being able to help a small business member connect with the person or resource that I knew could help them with a problem, an idea, and making those connections helps everyone strengthen their network. In my role as Manager of Entrepreneur Outreach and Support I am doing that connecting again every day!
